Sue then took a break from paid work whilst her children were growing up. During this time she qualified and taught as an ante-natal teacher for The National Childbirth Trust. She has served as a school governor for a local primary school.
In 1990 Sue joined Guildford County Court as an administrative assistant working in the civil, family and bankruptcy sections as well as acting as a clerk to the judges.
Sue joined the firm in 2000 as Richard Middlehurst's assistant undertaking family work and debt collection. Sue is a student member of the Institute of Legal Executives.
